Job Profile

We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong python skills to join the Engineering team in our New York office. This role will work with Product, Support and Sales Engineering to assist with data-related technical issues. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Building data models, database schemas and ORM models to represent data from a number of data sources and defining relationships between the data.
  • Working with the team to build data processing pipelines for our products. Ensuring data flow and consistency.
  • Supporting production database systems, including implementation of maintenance procedures.
  • Writing effective unit tests against production/developing code 
  • Working with Product, Support, Sales Engineering to assist with data-related technical issues

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required


  • Advanced knowledge of relational database systems including Microsoft SQL Server as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining business critical databases
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Experience in using, or developing reports in a business intelligence tool – ideally Looker
  • Experience in database design, building schemas and data models
  • Experience writing and maintaining complex stored procedures
  • System management experience with monitoring, disaster recovery, backup, automated testing and continuous deployment
  • Strong python skills, with experience performing data processing, ideally using some form of data modelling or ORM. Exposure to SQLAlchemy and Pandas desirable.


  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Airflow, Luigi, Azkaban etc.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, RDS, Redshift
